Ladies and Gentlemen,
We have a new gate mechanism, 90% complete.
Chuck has to re-order the part of the crank mechanism, but that part is being shipped second day air and should be completely installed by Wednesday evening (October 6th).
You should see the lake level rising in the meantime.
Come by and take a look at the new arrangement. I am pleased, and I think you will be too.

P.S. from Amy: If you have time, please take a moment to get out on foot along the shoreline, or by boat, and collect some litter that has risen to the top of the lake. There's lots of it but if we all pitch in, we can get rid of it and keep our lake crystal clean!! Thanks!
